When we are young our parents thought us that heroes are 'good people' and villains are 'bad guys'. But as we grow up, we realize that's not true when a villain character makes more sense.
We start to understand that good and bad are subjective perspectives.
Meaning, there is no absolute good or bad. There is nothing that is intrinsically good or bad.

- Not-able-to-take-revenge = Forgiveness
- Submission = obedience, sacrifice
- Hero = Good
- Villian = bad

- Brilliance
- Exuberance
- Wealth - these are the things society ought to value, and we should aspire to get but yet we devalue then and brand them as evil qualities!

Our understanding of morality is also heavily influenced by the society we live in, our culture, and, more often than not, the "winning side" or dominant force in the world. When we are trained to look at the world in a certain way, our emotional response reflects our worldview.
